Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to engineering inclusive, high-performance web experiences that everyone can navigate, including screen reader users and keyboard-only navigators.
WCAG 2.1 AA as a First-Class Engineering Standard
We build accessibility directly into semantic HTML structure, keyboard listeners, and contrast palettes rather than bolting on obstructive third-party overlay widgets.
Accessibility Commitment
At VENUS, we believe that software should be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and contrast adjustments.
We proactively engineer our websites, client workspaces, and custom software components to meet established digital accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.1 Level AA principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust) without relying on artificial third-party overlay widgets that often degrade the actual user experience.
Keyboard Navigation & Focus Management
All interactive elements across VENUS — including navigation links, buttons, modal dialogs, tab selectors, and accordion panels — are fully operable via keyboard input alone.
We implement visible, high-contrast focus rings ('focus-visible') and preserve logical tab order throughout the document. Modal dialogs and drawers feature automatic focus trapping and dismiss with the Escape key.
Color Contrast & Typography
We test our color palettes in both Light and Dark modes against WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio guidelines (at least 4.5:1 for regular text and 3:1 for large headings and interface controls).
Information is never communicated by color alone; status badges, error fields, and interactive tabs always pair chromatic indicators with clear textual descriptions or semantic icons.
Reduced Motion Support
For users who experience vestibular discomfort from visual motion, our CSS animations, 3D laptop interactions, and parallax transforms respect the system-level 'prefers-reduced-motion' media query.
When reduced motion is enabled on your operating system, floating animations and transition effects are replaced with gentle, non-disruptive static fades.
Semantic HTML & ARIA Structure
We author accessible document trees using semantic HTML elements ('<header>', '<nav>', '<main>', '<section>', '<article>', '<footer>').
Headings follow a strict logical hierarchy ('<h1>' through '<h3>'). Interactive Radix UI components include comprehensive ARIA states ('aria-expanded', 'aria-controls', 'aria-label', and 'role="region"') for seamless screen reader interpretation.
Feedback & Contact
Accessibility is an ongoing engineering commitment. If you encounter any barrier, unannounced screen reader behavior, or keyboard navigation defect while browsing VENUS or using our client workspaces, please contact our engineering team:
• Dedicated Email: accessibility@venus.dev • Scope: Please include the page URL, browser/OS version, and the assistive technology being used to help us resolve the issue swiftly.
